Hello, pardon my potential ignorance as I have only watched about 6 minutes of your video. I noticed that you mention the use of laser jammers without discussing the legality of them. I did a quick Google search, and found that they are illegal in my state. I think you should put an annotation warning viewers about the potential legal issues with jammers since you did the same when covering the detectors themselves.

I had V1 from the 90s with the regards to the V1 with windshield mount is sucks is on a jeep wrangler. Windshield to straight.

The V1 is bonkers sensitive with custom Ka sweeps. I've been running a V1 since 1996 and this programming takes time to learn but is very good at bringing the V1 up to speed.

YaV1 allows lockouts and alert logging that uses maps to review your alert showing frequncy, arrows direction, speed...very slick!

The experience I've had with escort/passport detectors is they they never lock out multiple signal locations. If a radar trap is set up at a locket out signal location you still get an alert.

im very interested in the valentine one detector i see alot on ebay and some of the sellers know what version they have some dont have you been able to upgrade youre valentine one and how often do you upgrade and can you tell with new upgrade downloads if the valentine acts or detects better .

This video has helped me decide between the two and I pick the max360 just because I will be using the detector in more than one car and prefer the all in one solution instead of the dedicated system going on with the V1 which would be my choice if I only had one car to drive and wanted more control over the way information is presented to me. Great job clarifying that up for me!

Honestly I cannot stand this guys videos because I think he promotes the Uniden radar detector way too much. However I give credit when credits due. This is an excellent video. The fact that he compared a V1 with custom sweeps to a Max360 is awesome. If you have the V1 you must set it to Euro mode and configure custom sweeps. Great video regardless of who you think the winner is.

Would have been better to have someone stand outside with a radar gun so that we could see proper alerts coming from the direction of the person moving. Here all we see is both detectors going nuts as waves are bouncing inside the cabin.
