One thing I love to do as a finishing Touch if I go a little heavy on the blush and bronzer is Elf’s halo glow setting powder. It works beautiful as a finishing powder to bled and Matty everything together

I agree about that lip butter! I purchased it from solid de janeiro the day it launched and had already decluttered it before I got it in my boxycharm.i love their products but, I just could not with that smell. I loved the exfoliating swipeys. They made my skin feel so smooth. I also really loved the Kosas cream blush. I loved that it was a cream product with great pigment but, it dried down really nice. Loved the highlighter too. That eyeshadow palette was a miss for me too. Went in a box for my niece.

How about using the lighter shade from the blush duo as a finishing powder, like the hourglass? Maybe it will work better for that. 🤷‍♀️

the smell of the sol de Janeiro lippies didn’t bother me too much, I bought all 3 shades as add ons. I didn’t receive the face palette but instead got the beauty bakery palette which is so pretty! I think you would’ve liked it.

The lip butter gives me holiday Lip Smackers chocolate scent vibes. I used to get the holiday kits as a kid lots and I disliked the chocolate scents which were in every one of them. It really reminds of them but it makes my lips feel so amazing.

I hear ya on that palette I tried many colors and they were all awful awful awful. Unfortunately I think its one of the worst I've recieved from BoxyCharm. I babysit my friends little girl a few times a month and I have a little basket of play makeup for her and this pallette will live there.

I know I'm late at watching it, but at 1AM here I am and excited to see the Nichole Monthly Reviews. As for the Sol lip balm... I thought it smelled like elmer's paste we had in school. Did anyone ever use glue on their hands? I did and was alway intrigued how soft my hands would be. LOL I haven't seen one person love OR like that palette. I've been trying to sell mine and no one is buying them on the FB sales. I've added both of mine on it to get rid of, the things I was excited for I can't use. Much Love my Friend and Stay Safe!

I completely agree about the lip butter. It smells like popcorn...maybe it is a play on

The Sol balm reminds me of the fair, like the fried sweets (funnel cake, etc.) at state fairs and things like that! I want to love the smell so badly, I really wished it dissipated once it was on the lips. I love the formula, but the smells is making it tough for me!

On the Go To website it says to swipe on and leave for 1 minute then rinse. I haven't tried them yet. I normally use First Aid Beauty pads. No rinse..❌✖❌

Nicole if I’m doing full on makeup I always use 2 bronzers. I had a free makeup class years ago at Sephora and the girl did something like that: to set the makeup she used 2 different powers a medium for the inner and medium deep for the outer, like a bronzer. Every time I do it I love the result. That’s how I use bronzers that shine. The same as blush a light shade first and then deeper one on the same family right in the apple and blend. It looks beautiful too. And it’s also a way to use more makeup 🤪😆😆
