Can't replace uss with cameras, just not the same. If something or someone is right infront of the car, cameras not gonna be able to see it until the car is far enough back that cameras can see it.

Whats cool about vision based parking is they can update it and make it better pretty much forever.

Other methods with ultrasonics ect are almost emmedietly limited by the quality of those sensors

My car has no radar sensors and the vision park assist is simply not good enough. Stop with the claims that it will improve over time…it’s just not good enough. I bought a car, I was promised park assist as part of that purchase, Tesla removed the sensors promising an equivalent or superior vision based system….I’ve had three months with no park assist at all, and now I have an unrealiable system that is massively inferior. It is just not good enough, the car is defective.
And where is the summon and self parking that I have also paid for, completely missing 4 months after delivery.

Why are Tesla removing the sensors? In my opinion this is a huge mistake. We all know how bad the auto wipers work and if I’m not wrong they work with the help of cameras.
