How should I set up my tackle organization this year? Hope you guys enjoyed! Make sure to share this with your friends! 👊🏼

Hey Scott, I’d remove the rod tubes and use the sleeves! Game changer! Tackle in the middle! Life jackets and day box on right side 🤙🏼

Keep the baits on the side compartment. So when you’re going crazy in a tournament after you catch a fish you still have the middle to stand on and get your stuff right out the side compartments.

I ripped the rod tube divider out of my Ranger's port rod box and love it! Holds a massive number of rods in sleeves. No need for rods in other boxes now. I recall that Shaw Grisby had done this to his boat quite a few years ago. It's quite a task to remove as it is foamed in place.

Scott you’re the ceo of plugs but I feel like I wouldn’t want it any other way. As someone who has worked hard to get the one “sponsor” I have it really ups my respect to you and I wouldn’t have the sponsor without all your vids teaching me how to fish.Keep up the good work. Good luck surviving this apocalypse

Your whole family has worked their butts off for the fishing community. You don’t have to explain nothing to most of us. We see the hard work and sacrifice you and your family have made to get where you are. We have seen the birthday phone calls and the missed graduations and things like that. You have earned that boat and anything else companies supply you with.

Talked to your dad at the Classic this year. I actually talked about you and all his and your youtube videos. Awesome family and everything you guys do for the fishing industry. Have always been a fan of you both.  Fantastic rig and good luck this year.

I have a Z520L as well. Port side is all rods of course. I use the center: for all my tackle boxes and some plastics in zip up Berkeley storage bags. The day box: I have smaller boxes that hold all of my terminal tackle I.e. dropshot box, wacky/Neko box, punch, treble hooks etc. it also holds my scents and some plastic swimbaits. The front starboard box has ropes, bumpers, I put my graph covers when not in use, emergency box, and a tow rope. The rear starboard has my GoPro box, live well treatment, scale, beam, fuel treatment, and my life jacket. The port rear locker is either empty if I have a co, or it is used for extra plastics and over flow.

Well Scott, since you ask. Your storage lockers, have you SeaDeck the bottoms? The aerator will dry things out, but sometimes heavily stain water on your lines and baits will drop water. Makes clean up that much easier. Removing the holes is great. Not just use rod socks, color code them. Scott, you go a number of ways with this. Your 20 rods all one color, primary color for similar setups. 20 rods in a known setup and a different color for wildcats. Frogs and poppers, all else have failed or little success, try these in the last couple hours before weight in or last day of practice rods. Now your poles. Have you considered changing the hinges to your poles that will allow you to lower them as flat as possible? Man-made structure a course, but overhanging branches that may prevent you from casting as far as you would prefer. Also, when you're reeling that 8 pounder hopefully you are meeting less obstruction. Hope this helps. I'll check if Sir Lunkers have a vlog today and send him a memo. To you and your family. Be well.

Great looking rig Scott, I have kinda the same compartment set up on my boat, I thought about taking rods outta the center but I changed my mind. They are all in socks and I love it. tackle on port side, life jackets, rain gear and misc, lines, bumpers, emergency lights, and first aid in starboard side. As someone said earlier, you don't have to have your large center box open switching out or looking for tackle, that's a huge lid to have open alot throughout your day. Hey, it's yours and do what works best for you! It's your lively hood!!! Wishing you all the best, your family and crew good health. Stay safe.. God Bless my friend.

Do what you were saying take the tubes out I did that to my ranger and it works great. Made the center just for tackle, makes for a easier day on the water. Keep up the good work and I’m cheering you on all year.

I would do use the side compartments for tackle. Then you can still stand or kneel in the front and get in the lockers for tackle. Saves a little bit of time on moving around the boat

Been using rod socks for years. Takes a couple more seconds but I love them. Saves so much space

I just started using lure lock boxes. Love them. Open the end of the rod locker and put all your rods there. Good Luck this year .

Hope you and the family are safe and doing well during these tuff times. I have to agree with you. Take the 10 hole rod organizer out so you can fit more rods in there on the left side. Then I would use that large middle section for all the tackle. I have done this with my boat and I can honestly say it has been great for me. easier to get to tackle fast, can sit as you do it, etc. Then use those 2 on the right side for every day type stuff like you mentioned. Hope this helps and good luck when you can get back into the tournaments. Stay safe.

Scott, thank you for being a strong and unapologetic supporter of our fishing/boating industry.

I would keep the rod tubes in. And store 10 on the left and 10 in the middle and build some kind of storage box on each side of the rods in the center for certain lures on each side. And also keep the right side storage for other lures as well. I think you would get irritated with rod socks. I know I would in a tournament environment. Good luck love the boat!

I like the removal of the rod organizer idea because it opens up more for separation of tackle that you will use and not use throughout practice and the tourney days
