I hope they don't make Tim and Doc a thing. That'd be so disrespectful to the fanbase that has been waiting for their relationship. They were already rude enough for only giving us like 6 episodes of them being together.

I Love Chenford... but... dont kill me for this, I think the writers would put Tim & the beautiful doc together for a while but make Chenford end game.

Tim isnt in a good head space now & and is going on Lucy's perspective on what he needs to resolve his issues. Honestly he is vulnerable, knows Lucy loves him but keeping her distance. I wouldnt be surprised if the doc is attracted to him (maybe even gave him a good report) so she'll be glad to see him on the regular. He will be working on his issues but it becomes obvious to the doc that Lucy is on his mind.

This could go one of 2 ways:

Lucy continuing to keep her distance makes him think she doesnt want anything to do with him anymore & he starts noticing how attractive the doc is. They may have a moment where they cross a line & Tim being the Captain America/Scout type dude that he is decides to stop seeing her as his therapist & decides to date her. Eventually things arent going to work out for him & the doc so they break up. By then Lucy is unavailable so it takes a while (& maybe a catalyst) for them to reunite.

Or

Tim is diligently working on himself, still loves Lucy, aware of doc's attraction to him although she plays on th it off really well. He is attracted to her but does all in his power to not show it. Neither can deny it. But Tim doesn't make a move and she realizes Lucy is a threat so she tries manipulating him & discrediting Lucy. He is oblivious to her mind games & Lucy starts wondering if she (Lucy) is jealous or paranoid so she doesn't voice those concerns. Somewhere along the line doc slips up & Lucy realizes something is very wrong, also that the mind games have been going on for months. So she starts gathering evidence & doing her research. When she brings the issue to Tim, he doesnt believe her & thinks doc helped him make so many progress. Lucy confronts the doc (but not with all she knows). Doc gets arrogant and tries baiting Lucy but Doc underestimates Lucy, doesn't know she has a degree in Psychology or that she is a diligent student. Dont know what is the climax for that arc, but Tim defends Lucybecaise he knows her well enough that she wouldnt do certain things because she is a decent person but also knows that if Lucy wanted to do what she is accused of, she is capable, but would not because of her honour. Tim traps the doc in a sting operation and Lucy charges her.
