Le château, Mov 3, La clé pour partir

This song is quite old. All three, to be honest. My good sister Aquariney wrote a little novel when she was a teenager, a deep psychological confession. One day, I decided to rewrite that same novel with three songs and show them to her as a birthday present.

This song is the third and final act with full orchestra: the girl escapes because her friends came on her rescue, and they battle the guards on their way out. But, is it real? Or just a desire of freedom? Desires let us nowhere if we don't take action... The friends, represented by strings and playful woods, and guards, represented by deep brass and organ, battle each other alongside the song. Woods and arps sound free on the second part, but a familiar melody from the first act appears anew.
