First shave with the Gillette Heritage razor

I got mine last week and it is a great mild shaver. All the signs point to Muhle R-89. I’m hoping this become at least an annual release. Maybe eventually have branded razors.

Hi Angelo. I just scored (another, lol) Shick Krona, as I prefer mild razors. The sender kindly included seven NOS Shick blades in the Shick dispenser. Can't wait to try them. I know the vintage Gillette Stainless Spoiler blades outperform every blade currently on the market, save for the GSB. I'm hoping these vintage Shick blades deliver that same unbeatable performance & longevity.

Wonderful shave. You just know if Gillette puts their name on a DE razor, it's going to perform well. Hopefully they bring back some of their TTO razors.

In my excitement I forgot to mention I used my everyday goto Williams Mug Soap with my 24mm Turn N Shave Plissoft brush. This razor is fantastic!

Great shave German Head, US handle would only expect a good shave
At this stage I don’t think Gillette will start making their own razors as it would cost too much
They would have to “tool up” again as the sold all the tooling when they stopped making razors
But you know what they say “never say never”

I used Gillette Pure with it, and of course the Platinum blades. If you are Paul's Wet heads, look at the posts, I'm the one that posted the photos. You'll see it there. 👍

Can it be used to shave your armpits and legs?

Yeah, it's mild, but it's smooth, almost Aristocrat smooth, dare I say. I'm going to throw a Bolzano or a Kai in it, and see what happens.

I certainly agree it's worth $35, but of course there is always the snowflake nitpickers that are never satisfied with anything, so if they are not satisfied, don't buy it. Stay on the sidelines and play pocketpool, LOL....
