Thanks for the ride! It takes me back to 1986 which is the year I graduated high school. Mine was a 4 speed and it was my first car. Or at least my first car that was drivable. :)

Check the distributor in regards to the acceleration hesitation had the EXACT same in a little n12 pulsar few years ago even rebuilt the carby too and that didn't fix it either. Turns out in the distributor once the cap is off there was a little screw inside that had broken away - replaced distributor and fixed it. Might be different on yours but just a suggestion - cool car :-)

I had the same model & year & color, paid 100.00 had broken back glass, bought plexiglass 20 bucks home depot, trimmed it out to fit, sealed it in. worked great. - I beat the hell outta that little car, redlined it often mpower shifting, day started running rouff, sold it 75.00 to a freind.
