Bought my 2018 540i xDrive w/ 35K for $34K. I owned a 2010 528i M Sport (purchased in Germany) US spec…best bimmer I have driven.

Over a year ago, I purchased my brand new fully-loaded 540i xDrive M-Sport and since working from home nowadays, my vehicle still has under 600 miles. Recently, I changed my exhaust system w/ aftermarket Remus cat-back system, upgraded a wider 20” forged wheels/tires package, and installed front splitter/rear deck spoiler/diffuser. In the process of getting MSS sport (adjustable) spring kit as I am interested in a firmer suspension while maintaining OEM ride height!!

Thanks for the great review! Just got one "for my wife" also; she didn't know or care that it had the V6, just wanted a white/tan BMW. Win/win i'd say. First purchase will be the CAI for sure; thanks for the link, K&N (my usual go-to) doesn't make them for this model. Probably will leave it stock otherwise, except a low key tint in the back to keep the sun heat down for the kiddos.

love your taste in cars man, just browsed through a bunch of your videos. i've had my sole bimmer, my 135i, for about two years now and i've slowly been building up a small tool collection to work on my car myself. what do you feel like are the most essential tools you have? asking because i saw you have a quickjack which is $$ but i hear it's good. so far i have a basic jack, impact driver with a set of sae and metric sockets and bits and i'm thinking about that torque wrench you linked in one video. only been buying things as needed but always thinking about what tools i'll need next for future wrenching

Nice video! Have the same car and just a heads up. You need the full digital cluster (6WB) to get the Alpina gauges. You can get it retrofitted and coded.

Why would you do downpipes on a luxury barge like that sub 13s is amazing is do a s1 tune at most it’s the wife’s anyway lol
