The soundtrack choices in the second season on Dark are just pure genius

This was one of the most powerful sequences I've ever seen in a series, and this song makes that perfectly apparent. Realizing that your son committed suicide and was the husband of the woman who was sleeping with your husband and that your daughter is in love with her nephew. The mother of the protagonist who is good, is a rotten vindictive snake who is always looking back because she can't move on. Being led to a secret place by someone, in the past, and realizing that this person led you to your adversary, but not only that, but that the person is actually your adversary's past self. Both are working together; self, grooming self. And even more shocking, finding out that your adversary and all he has done, has been in the service of a you you will become some day (my God). A mother arriving home to her sleeping daughter who she didn't do right by, in the present, knowing that she will die of cancer in the future... to have found a perfect song to carry all that... I have no words.

just for a second the older noah looks at jonas like he both despises him and recognizes him, the way you do with an old friend. just for that instance this is such an epic montage. an easter egg
