Dear Rosemary, I know that it has to be at least 25 years since I last heard this hymn in any church. You could not have chosen a better song than this for today. It is so rare for me to listen on Wednesdays and even more difficult for me on Sundays. Walking with God is not an easy thing to do. We have to be silent and He will guide us and our steps lest we fall. I can visualize standing on the shore with hands outstretched waiting for Jesus to take me with Him. Such a wonderful hymn to hear as our world completely keeps falling apart. Thank you for all that you do to keep God in our lives, it is such a difficult thing to do.
