Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, when asked on Monday why the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps hasn't been declared a terrorist group or other Iranian officials made persona non grata in Canada, defended his government's response to the protests taking place in Iran and across the world. He said Canada has some of the strongest sanctions in the world and would continue working with global partners to hold Iran responsible.

Trudeau made the comments in Ottawa where he, alongside Ontario Premier Doug Ford and other federal, provincial and municipal government officials, announced funding for Nokia to expand its facility into a mixed-use corporate, residential and commercial hub. The project will receive $72 million in total funding from the three levels of government.

In speaking with reports, Ford said he had not been asked to testify in the ongoing inquiry into the federal government's invocation of the Emergencies Act earlier this year in response to the "Freedom Convoy" protests. He also said that he stood "shoulder to shoulder" with Trudeau in the response, when asked if he felt the use of the act was justified.

Asked about hospitals seeing more intake and concerns of the health-care system being overwhelmed as the flu season begins, Trudeau said Canadians shouhld get vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza ahead of the winter to avoid the "danger" of needing other health measures this winter. He urged the inoculations to protect the health-care system from dealing with preventable admissions.

If Trudeau would stop exhaling Canada would be better off. The air would certainly be cleaner.

A Canadian prime minister should not be talking and speaking with the mannerisms he does… he feels full power. He must be removed and we must get back to basics.
