I disassembled my whole extruder, reassembled it, still had stutter. Then found this video. Thanks, worked a charm! Probably some heat creep.

The reason why this happens is because glow in the dark filament is abrasive. If you purchase the Hardened Steel Extruder Gears and the Hardened Steel Nozzle from bambu it should fix any issues you may have. I think its like $50 total for both and is a great upgrade if you print with a lot of abrasive materials. Nice video!

This just saved my 17 hour print which clogged at hour 15. I used the same steps except i didnt power down, resumed printing and all is well now! Thank you!! (Not advice, just what worked for me).

When you took the hotend and nozzle off, you showed a piece of filament in there. Isn't that normal because the blade cuts the filament just above? Shouldn't it just melt and flow out the next time a filament is pushed through?

this helped more than any google search ever

Thanks!! I actually thought my motor was gone after taking apart my entire extruder and replacing hotend it was you recording that exact sound that I must have just gotten 2 jams in a row but hearing the sound let me know that was problem so I went and removed the head that I had put in just the other day and cleaned it out and bamo i was extruding again!!

Why could you just pluck it out and I had to search for the smallest possible tweezers to pry it out. Anyways. It worked and I thank you. :)

Fixed it, with your splendid video. But my stuck filament piece was flush cut. I had to use a needle to flush it out of the hot end radiator.

Did this already, remove the broken PLA piece from the hotend. Put everything back, tried to extrude again but still clicking sound, no extrusion. I may have to go deeper and check the filament sensors gear.

I had to learn the hard way, but that’s what I figured as well

Hi. My Bambu sticks to the bed just fine, extrudes fine until about an inch into the print then it looks like it stopped moving at a certain point causing a small build up on the piece which causes a mis-print. Any Ideas? Thanks for the video.

Fantastic video... not even Bambu "Customer service" figured this part out... it's odd... ti only happens with Glow in the Dark pLA for me, too... i wonder what it is about the glow that makes it occur so regularly.
