Let’s not forget how Sherman’s men treated Georgians during their march and how much of that wasn’t documented by the union government, Not to mention the towns they burned along the way.

Yeah... there's a lot more to it than that. What you DIDN'T mention as that Lawrence was a regional headquarters for Jayhawkers and Abolitionist Partisans, both of whom were famous in Kansas and Missouri for carrying out terrible acts of mass murder, violence, and rape.

Quantrill was quite the critic of slavery, however, his discontent with the abolitionist militias before the war is clear for the reason is that they were absolute savages who killed for blind reason, and often didn't care whether or not the people they killed were even slavers. Eventually, like many that would come under his command, had family who were murdered in cold blood, which drove him and his followers to vengeance.

Also, there are literally no sources suggesting any of the women were violated in the Lawrence raid. I'm sure you would of rather that of happened so your propaganda spiel could claim that the attack of Lawrence was baseless and not an act of vengeance against many of the men there who again, were mass murderers and rapists.

Selective history is strong with this one. Quantrill raided Laurence not the whole state of Kentucky. Lawrence was the head of abolitionists and Jayhawker organizations.

Lets be honest here. As big a piece of Missouri border scum as Quantrill was, he was seeking revenge for the burning of Osceola Mo. by Lane and his Jayhawkers in 61.
Of course this just cause retaliation with general order #11. Huzzah for the KS Redlegs!

Go on tell me how the war was all about slavery.
I mean it's not like your own history books tell us exactly what the war was about and how it started.
Will you be making a vid about that or will you just ignore the facts and go straight for the abolition narrative.
I dare you to tell the truth Mr. Historian.
