I got the same computer a few months ago and it came with an i3 instead of an i5. I put a gt1030 and a 500 gb ssd and it works really good for playing some light games and webbrowsing. It also came with a keyboard mouse and monitor for only 500$. I paid 90$ for the gpu and 50$ for the ssd and it is a really great computer! Thank you for this amazing guide

hi Mxkdi! Love your videos. I did want you to correct something that would be GOOD NEWS for people who bought this ACER! This ACER does see the rx6400 graphics card as PCIe gen4 card! I was on forum room where someone did buy this card, and shared it is seen as gen 4 . The rest of us in thread were very surprised to learn that, we thought it would only show as gen 3. Maybe research it yourself or try that card yourself. Good News!

The AMD RX 6400 LP is currently the fastest low profile GPU and it uses just 55W. It's the best choice for PCs like this.

I love getting the most out of old Acer, Dell, and Lenovo PCs. I worked on a 10th gen Acer Aspire a year ago. It was the same form factor, but had a i3-10100 and the motherboard looked slightly different- only 2 SATA ports and other differences. I found out the hard way that the M.2 slot was only PCIE 3.0 x 2. Does this model have a PCIE 3.0 x 4 NVME?

Really well done MXKDI. Thanks for the detail. I am only replacing my current 8GB of RAM with the Crucial RAM 32GB Kit. Is there clearance to slip the two sticks in without removing the housing for the optical drive? In other words, nothing more than the outside cover? That would be pretty easy if it's possible and a good place to start with my upgrades for the time being. Thank you.

How did you get the ram to run at 3200? I changed ram and it went from 29xx to 26xx and I don’t see anyway to change it in bios. I have the same PC. I have the latest Bios but can’t update the firmware to 1.1.
