I saw Washed Out live tonight at the Van Buren in PHX and they played this version. Hearing the album version after this is just such a stark difference. This song was just ok on the album in my opinion but this rendition is better in every conceivable way. The jumbled sounds effects are much quieter and allow you to actually focus on the music being played which includes the BASS OH MY GOD THE BASS IS SO GOOD WHY DIDNT THEY DO IT LIKE THAT ON THE ALBUM. The band he played with at the show I just came from were visibly having so much fun playing this song, I’m so happy this song reached its full potential

There used to be a bar in Chicago called "The Blue Note", and a lot of Blues and Jazz and some fusion of both would play, this reminds me of that one evening in the mid nineties. Awesome memory. ☺💗
