I Recreated an Edwardian Dress - Part 1 Fashion Plate Bodice

This idea started in December when a friend suggested we challenge each other to recreate a fashion plate. After searching through a bunch of pictures we settled on these two Edwardian dresses. This video is part one of the process. Part two and the reveal will be up in two weeks.

Edwardian bodices are a bear to sort out! I procrastinated nearly a year on making my Edwardian evening gown bodice. Great job getting this one It's a huge accomplishment!

I had similar problems with edwardian bodices not fitting at the back so you are not alone. I had to add an ugly, huge dart at the back of my Titanic era evening gown because i had the same problem!And also I can't wait to see the skirt making video!
