Elena Dragomir is a researcher at the Study Center for the History of International Relations at Valahia University of Târgovişte. Her research focuses on Romanian history during the Cold War and Romania’s relations with the EEC. Her most important publications include Cold War Perceptions: Romania’s Policy Change towards the Soviet Union, 1960–1964 (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2015) and “Breaking the CMEA hold: Romania in Search of a ‘Strategy’ towards the European Economic Community, 1958–1974”, in: European Review of History 27 (2019).
