Revenge is a dangerous game. The lives of a man and a woman are changed forever by the acts of one vengeful man.

A man named An Ye Luo lashes out when the woman he loves decides to marry a wandering warrior. To get revenge, he switches their daughter with the newborn son of the Lie Huo Pavilion. The daughter, Lie Ru Ge (Dilraba Dilmurat), grows up as the heiress of Lie Huo Pavilion who is well liked by all the training martial artists. The son, Zhan Feng (Zhang Bin Bin), is taken in as a disciple of Lie Huo Pavilion, after his father’s death.

In the company of their friends, skilled martial artist Yin Xue (Vic Chou) and the disabled prince Yu Zi Han (Wayne Liu), Ru Ge and Zhan Feng enjoy a close friendship that eventually blossoms into love. But when Ye Luo returns to weave more vengeful lies to tear Ru Ge and Zhan Feng apart and bring turmoil to the nation, can they seek out the truth and restore peace?

“The Flame’s Daughter” is a 2018 Chinese drama series directed by Liang Sheng Quan. It is based on the novel Lie Huo Ru Ge by Ming Xiao Xi. The series has the same production team as the 2017 hit Chinese drama “The Eternal Love.”

I wanted to share my experience after recently discovering and binge-watching some fantastic dramas.

I've just finished watching "The Flame's Daughter" for the second time and am currently on my third viewing. I regret not discovering it sooner. Initially, I had no idea about Vic Zhou's extensive drama list. However, one day, reminiscing about his performance in "Meteor Garden, " which I've watched six times, I decided to look up his other works.

I started with "Silence, " followed by "Mars" and "Love Storm, " but "The Flame's Daughter" truly captivated me. The drama, with its compelling storyline and outstanding soundtracks, especially the opening and ending themes, has been on repeat for me. While I wouldn't consider myself a drama enthusiast, the F4 series has always had a special place in my heart, and this drama featuring Vic Zhou further solidified my admiration for him.

This was also my first time watching Dilraba Dilmurat. Although I wasn't familiar with her before, her performance in this drama piqued my interest, and now I'm a fan. The chemistry between Vic Zhou and Dilraba, along with the remarkable performances of the entire cast, made this drama an unforgettable experience.
