Take a look as Alan walks you through the steps on how to use your BMW Assistant back up feature! Backup Assistant helps the driver when leaving parking spaces and maneuvering in a confined space. The Backup Assistant traces the vehicle’s last forward movements but in reverse. The driver is responsible for operating the accelerator, brake pedals and monitor the vehicle’s surroundings. The system will reverse approximately 150 feet and the speed will be about 5 miles an hour. It as easy as the push of a button!
