Thank you for the kind words, I am glad my videos have helped you. I have some more CNS work to do yet but they will come. Good luck on your USMLE exam, all the best!

@altforfit
The CNS is the brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system consists of peripheral nerves (cranial & spinal) and ganglia.

Thank you for the video! It helped a lot! I do have a question though. I thought action potentials were an all-or-nothing event. In the pacinian corpsucle, it this not true?

Outside of the brain??? Cmon Mullaly, you are better than that. Outside of the brain would be the spinal cord, which is in fact still a central process and not peripheral. Anything post ganglionic is peripheral my friend. And ganglion can sometimes stem from the c.n.s too. The latter is true, though as long as they directly innervate muscle junctions in the peripheral.

Nice video, but you should be careful insulting things. "The real science etc." Reflexology is scientifically recognized in many ways. The benefits have been recognized by medicine, and organizations including the National Institutes of Health and the National Cancer Institute etc. I would suggest the compiled research studies of Kunz and Kunz.
