Great comparison guys. But despite the weight and hood advantages of the micro puff, I'm coming down on the side of the nano - mostly bcos of that zippered inner pocket, and those zippers in general. But I need it more for shoulder season travel (I have a down jacket for extreme cold + shell)

Thanks for the detailed review. I had the same loose string issue with my Nano Puff but in no case did it result in anything coming undone. I wish the nano were a bit warmer, but as a fisherman, I appreciate how quickly it dries as I often have to put my forearms into the water.

I have a Nano and a Micro. Like you guys, I find that for general use, I reach for the Nano. Because the Nano is made with 20 denier, which feels more durable than the Micro's 10 denier. They both make great spring and fall season jackets, and great layers under another jacket when it gets colder.

I have both but I am so disssapointed with micro due to durability. I am always so afraid to wear it don't to tear it even more, but on the other side I would wear my nano anywhere even to music festival 😅

These jackets actually change a bit over time with the company, so this isn’t a great comparison. You would need to compare them with models from the same year or within a couple years.
