I suggest you to get skilled in normal mode first before trying out hard mode.

GEAR: I have +10 discovery intense weapon and +9 ambit set (masterworked). Rest of team had mix of ambit/discovery, lancer and archer were skilled in BRHM.

I hate the first boss so much. Not because he kills me, but most of the party panics after rocks break and start running away from me.
Of course you will die if you dont let me cleanse you! But yeah it's the healers fault. But if the party doesn't wipe at first boss then the rest is easy

Thanks for this. I just cleared my 2nd run in hard mode (lancer) but had few failed runs mostly at fish lol. All that practice though, learned to stack the pools and dodge them most times lol. What sucks is the water aoe, body slam and fish's needle attack (which hurts a lot ) can b bad timing sometimes for lancer lol. My first time though when I did fight fulminar nightmare (with exp group) I didn't die but died a lot on my 2nd clear with a diff team. I jus realized the pizza in annihilation has red/orange and white spots, where white is safe, however, I don't see the red/orange lol. I know it's possible to dodge if in red, stay then move to white. Also it helps to infuriate fulminar at 15 percent make him double enrage, it helps the dps more lol. I started recording videos recently, will be uploading soon sometime :)

One question tho, are you sure you only have +9 ambit set? :)
I'm full discovery+9 and the saw at 19:28 and 23:01 one shots me, the jumps he randomly makes take about 50% of HP. Something is fishy here :P

Also, the pattern for the pizza cutter is : gold or blue, gold, and then blue. It's not to just watch what comes. That leaves room for death.

Ahh! I love this so much. :3 As a priest with a fatal flaw of mechanic derping. seeing other priests getting hit with the same stuff makes me feel better. It's not an excuse of course... but its heartwarming! I absolutely love watching your video and looking at how you react to certain situations. I always make sure to watch your guide before doing any new dungeon. <3


Oh! Something I've started to do is, because I had a cruddy purifying brooch, if it looks like DPS won't knock down the fish I'll go behind a wall and cleanse the debuff. Its not the best strategy it definitely helps!

Thx for this guide, too. Big help. I got through for the 1st time. Started as Priest (which i hadn't played in half a year) and couldn't get past the fish. Switched to DPS and eventually made it to the end. Seeing the mechanics in action helps a ton. Now if I can just pay better attention and not get combo'd...
