Remembering the album launch at family nightclub Brisbane, 20 yrs on these tracks still are in my brain 🙌.

Used to throw this on a discman, rip a few cones and mission the bus to trade school listening to this when it was new.
Tough times made bearable with music.

As a teenager I used to ride my bike everywhere listening to these CD's in my discman, or pumping myself up in the morning before school with massive hi-fi speakers in my bedroom. Later came a 256mb MP3 player that I used from this volume onwards. Still to this day I favor using my MP3 player for portable music needs over using a phone.
Anyway, these albums and many others in the MOS lineage stood as the pinnacle for electronic music for me and my friends in Melb. We where blown away by this stuff! I had older brothers that were going out to Candy, Bubble, Bass station and coming home with demo CD's which where always top notch. But in 2020 after 8yrs of producing music and revisiting favourites like this, it's interesting to see how quickly the mind dissects and unravels all the elements in this music rather than feeling it with the degree of primal intensity that it used to carry, or just simply getting bogged into nostalgia or bias of it still being the benchmark just because it was a special time of life being young and bullet proof

Jason micro, yeah this Cd was my favourite out of the hard nrg series. From start to finish it was a journey. I loved how heavy sounded it got towards the middle then really heavy at the end of the cd
