Virtue theory is a major approach to ethics, emphasizing virtues or character of an individual. MacIntyre favors this approach and provides a very broad virtue theory that emphasizes practices and can be applied beyond moral concerns. Practices involve standards of excellence, some rules that must be obeyed, and goods to achieve.

What is Nietzsche's take on virtue? I remember reading something like "one virtue is more a virtue than any of the virtues"( in Zarathustra I think; it seems like he things that even their within virtues themselves there is a will to power thing going on)

This was so better structured and analyzed then how my professor tried to explain MacIntyre. I'm a student not an expert so I won't be able to immediately understand MacIntyre from direct quote, I need an expert in the field to analyze and highlight the core concepts to understand first. I really appreciate this video so much!
