Name of the brands are looking similar because "AZ" in the name stands for "Avto Zavod" which translates as "Car Factory"
So KamAZ is Kamskiy Avto Zavod, MAZ is Minskiy Avto Zavod, VAZ is Volzhsky Avto Zavod and GAZ is Gorky Avto Zavod

Good to see you are showing your mostly American/English speaking world audience that In Russia they make all these different buses/vehicles, and they're as modern as any bus made in the US or any part of the world, there are a lot of ignorant people in the US, that thinks Russia it's still stuck back in the USSR, it's the constant propaganda they're exposed to on a daily basis in the USA/west. Moscow is #1 city in the world by number of electric buses. They have a whole 1000 electrobuses in use.

If by any chance there will be a possibility to record a video on convention about plane industry, I would love to watch it too! There are so many plane factories in Russia, going by names TU (Tupolev), SU (Sukhoi), IL (Ilyshin), MIG (Mikoyan & Gurevich) and so on

Kamaz...famous for their indestructible shock absorbers. Easy to repair too.

Brands have similar names because they are abbreviations.
MAZ stands for Minskyi Avtomobilnyi Zavod or Minsk Automobile Plant, its from Belarus.
KAMAZ is KAMskiy Avtomobilny Zavod (Kama Automobile Plant) which is in Russian city Naberezhnye Chelny on the Kama River.

Russian buses looks more comfortable and presentable than Chinese ones. I have used long distance buses in Fiji (From lautoka to Suva). It was very cold but comfortable to sit in.
