The reason people are pressed is because when you make a comment like that it doesn’t come off as joke. In a time of mass gun violence - where does the joke end and the wishful thinking begin? It’s a wild statement to say you “don’t mind” someone being shot.

When I first read the news reports about this I thought it was terrible of him to say something like that. But when I actually see him saying it, I think it's a joke. I'm almost certain he really would mind if somebody were to start shooting at him from whatever angle and people got hurt. I can see the man is getting really tired and needs a rest. Yes, he does say some dumb things at times but so do Biden and Harris and Walz. I still like more of what Trump says than I don't like, so I'm still going to vote for him on Tuesday and I'm hoping nobody shoots anybody.

Finally someone pointed that out. There is a big hole in the safety glass in front of Trump. No one mentioned it. I saw it from the begining until Trump himself brought it up. Trump always speaks his mind frankly.
