Follow Lisa: to the heart of Valais Switzerland - Sion

A quick overnight trip to visit a high school friend from long ago... The town of Sion, situated in Valais, is really an amazing city with stunning views from every angle of the beautiful Swiss Alps.
Mariam showed me her farmer's market where we picked up fruit and veggies to go with our "brisolée". Cheeses bought at the Fromagerie La Grenette (my favorite was infused with saffron from Mund), hot chestnuts from the street vendor, viande sêchée, and sliced rainbow beets!

I really loved going to the Valais Art Museum, soaking in the Saviese style art. Of course we were able to schedule in some junking at the charity shops too! I hope you enjoy this little souvenir.
