Italian PM hails successful G7 summit, says group united on global challenges

Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni says the G7 is sending a “clear signal” to China over its industrial overcapacity. In its joint statement, the group also said that a US$50 billion loan for Ukraine using frozen Russian assets in the West was an “unmistakable signal” to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. Can anyone imagine that 2 countries that go to war still have a trading relationship? I can't. PRC and West / USA are not in a hot war but almost cold war or hot peace. So I expect that trade will continue to decline. One being a net exporter, other being a net importer. Easier to create supply than create demand generally.
