Just bought the bugout 535bk-4 with m390 steel razor sharp out of the box with t6 aluminum scales and red barrel spacers and red thumb studs. It's a great knife. Not gold class but blue class.

The 940 is easily one of my favorite knife designs to date. A full size knife that disappears in your pocket. I only have one big complaint about benchmade knives. I had my 940 at work sitting on a table. I knocked it off whatever it was on and when it hit the ground the blade fully deployed. Luckily it didn't go far or bounce much and hit the edge on something. The building i worked in had concrete floors and machines everywhere. So I could've easily been spending 30-45 minutes on a stone 😆. Yeah their mechanisms are smooth alright. Almost too smooth I've been carrying a custom crooked river and i love it as well. It's bulky and you know it's there but it's not only a great knife but sexy AF

I just got my first 940. (Not that fancy). I love it, but my only beef is that it has blade play. Not the end of the world, but for what you pay for that butterfly I feel like it shouldn’t happen. Sick knife though!

Just held one of these at a bass pro shop the other day they're pretty nice wouldn't say glove worthy my personal opinion carbon fiber absolutely beautiful 24 karat gold spacer absolutely immaculate good quality made just not something I'd personally use a glove it's a knife that wants to be used
