Not only is ChickenSmoothie stable, they are thriving! I haven't actively played in months but I still check in regularly, and they have been doing a lot to improve the site. A lot of the newer artists are super creative and make adorable pets. They also have been doing more pet and item drops than normal... They recently did a whole release just for National Pancake Day! That is not something they would have done before! And they've released multiple new species in the last year or so, most recently snakes and otters. That's not something they had done often in the past. They deserve all the awards!

I think Dragcave is still going strong after all these years, and it was definitely my OG. While I'm more into the 'growing (custom) adoptables' scene now, I'm so glad that it's still an option too.

I was literally thinking about Chicken Smoothie when you started talking about egg hatching games!! I was floored when you actually mentioned it, I've been on the site since it launched and just got back into it this year. Awesome video!!

One of my favorite things about Neopets is that many of the pet instances come with history. You can find pets made in the early 2000s in the pound. That's why it brings me so much joy that Chicken Smoothie has that feature as well!

Another thing worth highlighting, along the lines of differently abled folks: Neopets recently put out a ton of inclusive items. Different natural hair type wigs, LGBTQ+ pride flags, and a variety of items that represent a variety of disabilities. Even service petpets, a book on braille, a neurodivergent infinity shirt, canes, EVEN A SUNFLOWER LANYARD! I hate Neopets for NFTs, uncredited uses of fan designs, and overall bad management. But I feel like current TNT is doing what very little tiny bit they can to do good and I respect that.

I've been working on a ✨experience✨ type site with my brother. It has games and forums and stuff. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth the effort to make a browser game in 2023 but we have a ton of fun and it's always cool to look at the stats and see 3 people have played our games.

i recently returned from a hiatus and unfroze my account on neopets, they recently re-released some expensive NC items and learning the previous events on other expensive stuff. really nice for new players to invest :D
