Remember to use life leech, it's an ability that heals you up every time you bite a creature.
If you're doing 900 damage each bite to something, you will heal up 300 hp every bite.

Galiryn's fire breath can do almost 600 damage minimum to the boss, nearing 1000 with crits. the tentacles are much more resistant, but it's absolutely better with the bite attack.
