People in general do not have self-respect anymore. If you don't respect yourself, how can you respect others?

The debate would have been totally civil if the democrats had just accepted the results of the 2016 election, respected the presidency and let Trump do his job without trying to destroy him

The ethical and moral decline of society in my 50 years of life is shocking and very depressing, actually.

I had a neighbor friend who I was trying to help out, so I let him work for me part time. I had to constantly remind him not to talk in front of or to the customer, every other word out of his mouth was the f word or s word, he is a black man so the n word came out a lot too. We got into so many arguments, he would say "that's how I talk so what " I would say " this is my business and it's not professional ". Needless to say he doesn't work for me anymore nor my friend. That is all him though, his decision. He said he can't have anything to do with me because I support our great president. I guess that's the thanks I get for helping someone out. No regrets though. I love everyone, if they hate me or not, I still love everyone. God bless everyone, much love and aloha.

The difference between masks and seatbelts isn't the safety, it's the legislative mechanism... seatbelt laws endured decades of state level legislature debate, they were not imposed by some random doctor who happened to be a Washington bureaucrat.

Isn’t there a difference between being a “public platform” and a “publisher”? How can social media claim to be a “public platform” while practicing publisher editing?

I once used to be a socialist, Poor background no father or family just me and my mom, used to think of myself as a victim. You changed that dennis, your advice and wisdom has helped me a great deal. This might sound weird but you're like a virtual father to me. A place where I can go online and get advice and tips on how life works, how to behave, etc. You've really made a difference in my life and I am forever gratefull. Thank you is all I can say.

Carson was the best interviewer by far. No comparison. He got out of the way so the guest could take the spotlight.

I am an educational therapist, I teach dyslexics and am a language/literacy expert. 30% of the population do not process speech very well. For these individuals lip reading helps them understand what is being said . Masks make this impossible. This is a strategy I teach my students.

The question is whether or not the government has the authority to make you do it.

Art is also in decline now. The stuff in art shows now are difficult to look at. The art world takes any trash pushes into it.

Dennis is right about the cost to society of masks and hiding our faces. One cost that Dennis did not specifically mention is that it brings out hostile and confrontational behavior in a surprising number of people. They take it upon themselves to harass their fellow citizens both in person and on social media for not hiding their faces. They appear to take pleasure in the opportunities to attack others that arbitrary face mask edicts give them. It is an ominous sign for our society.

The fact that seatbelts saves lives is not the question. The question is should people be free to choose to wear them or should the government be able to decide for you.?
