Chile Chicken Mi goreng @mrnigelng

Ingredients:

Mi goreng instant noodles (I use IndoMie)
Chili Powder (crushed red chili)
MSG
Salt
Black Pepper
Egg
Chicken Thigh
Peanut Oil

1. Mix chili powder, MSG, Salt, and Black Pepper in a bowl and mix throughly

2. Coat chicken thigh in mixture and fry chicken in peanut oil at around 350F

3. Add wet packet ingredients from Mi goreng package to a bowl

4. Boil noodles for 2 minutes (undercooked) and drain

5. Add noodles to bowl and add dry package ingredients from Mi goreng package to noodles (optional: add Chili Powder to noodles)

6. Add enough oil from chicken skillet to coat bottom of wok

7. Heat oil and then crack egg into oil. Fry until crispy on bottom and then flip egg

8. Fry for about 10 seconds and then smash egg with Ladle Spatula. Break up egg and fry it some more

9. Add noodles to wok and fry for 3 seconds while stirring

10. Add ingredients back into bowl

11. Cut chicken into strips and place onto noodles

12. Eat

I’ll be doing a “from scratch” version too. But if you have IndoMie Mi goreng noodles near you use them; Uncle Roger approves using them, and they are in all-in-one delight.
