As national backlash foments around the practices of the Sinclair Broadcast Group, which mandates its local stations must air conservative political commentary and local anchors must read corporate-approved scripts, we've gotten several messages from people who think we're part of the network. In fact, we're not! We're proudly owned by E.W. Scripps, and we broadcast independent journalism without corporate intervention.
