Contra Force (NES/FC) - Longplay

Contra Force is a video game for the NES console that was released in 1992 only in North America. A planned Japanese release called Arc Hound was canceled. Despite the mention of Contra in the title, this game is not part of the Contra series and has no plot connections with it (except for the mention of the city of Neo-City, which occurs in Contra III: The Alien Wars and Contra 4).

Plot - The game begins in the fictional city of Neo-City in 1992. There is a center for operational opposition to organized crime, called the Contra Force, headed by a man named Burns. The operatives are tasked with stopping a criminal syndicate called D.N.M.E.

Informant Fox calls Burns and informs him that unknown persons are threatening the intelligence chief. Burns makes an appointment with the informant to find out more details. However, when Burns arrives at the port where the meeting was scheduled, it is revealed that Fox is already dead. Burns and his squad are suddenly attacked by armed bandits. Now the heroes must clear the city of terrorists and rescue the intelligence chief.
