Kate Garraway, 53, has been absent from Good Morning Britain for over three months now after her husband, Derek Draper, 52, was put into a coma after being admitted to St Thomas’ Hospital with coronavirus at the end of March. Before the crisis hit and her other half was struck by the illness, the presenter was set to front her own programme on weekend mornings. However, this was put on hold when the ITV star was dealt her heartbreak, but it seems plans to bring the show to air are still very much in the pipeline. Rak-Su frontman Myles Stephenson, 28, has revealed his friend and former co-star will return to screen for Breakfast at Garraway's sometime in the future. Speaking to OK! Magazine, the former I’m A Celebrity star explained: “I’m doing Breakfast At Garraway’s with Kate when we can, which will have a cooking element to it. “Obviously, the situation with Kate is s**t, but when Derek gets better, we can go full steam ahead with that." Myles has also been in touch with Kate, adding: “Yeah, I’ve spoken to her as much as I can, but I don’t want to keep bombarding her with questions because she needs her close friends and family around her. “As close as we are, she’s got the kids to worry about. I don’t think it’s fair to remind her of the situation she’s in because she knows.”
