I ovulated regularly (confirmed through temping and progesterone blood tests at 7dpo), however, after 2 years of timed BD and no luck, my doctor prescribed Clomid. During those 2 years, I did notice my luteal phase was poor due to intermittent spotting and it being very short. The very first month I took it, I got pregnant and I'm now 20 weeks. I'd love to hear your explanation on why this might happen. Thanks, Dr. Crawford. I love your content!

I had the opposite experience going to an REI for the first time: I was surprised by how many options there were! When you think 'fertility dr" you just think IVF and I didn't realize all the different less invasive, less intensive, and frankly less expensive treatments there were. Currently about to go into my 3rd uterine surgery this year; this time removing scar tissue after my miscarriage that I was able to conceive naturally after being treated for cervival stenosis (would love a video on that). Might jump to IUI to bypass future cervical problems. Fingers crossed for a baby in 2023!

I have unexplained infertility. I have hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's.) Uterine septum - has been corrected; previous laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for endometriosis and polyps. I have regular cycles, never been on birth control. Tubes are not blocked. Had a failed IUI about three years ago. Will try IUI next month with donor sperm. I still have faith I will be able to conceive. 🙏

In the United States, among heterosexual women aged 15 to 49 years with no prior births, about 1 in 5 (19%) are unable to get pregnant after one year of trying (infertility).

This is so helpful! I get really frustrated with the UK's Health System. I was referred to a specialist 6 months ago and I'm still in the diagnosis phase due to the long wait list, having to wait 4 months between appointments =( I know I have an issue (regularly spotting between periods) and I get angry when they suggest other tests with even longer wait lists but at least I know they'll rule out everything so I can start the appropriate treatment. Thanks for the video!

This is incredibly helpful. I have a regular menstrual cycle; however, I also have PCOS. I have a history of miscarriages with only one live birth. With regular cycles does that mean I am ovulating regularly. I’ve tried OPKs, but with my PCOS the tests haven’t been reliable.

Please do a video on breastfeeding while ttc and the prolactin hormone. There is a huge community of folks who are doing extended breastfeeding and wanting to expand their families!

Hello, I wanted to know if weight is a factor to do IUI over IVF. My current fertility clinic says that due to risks that they cannot do IVf if BMI is over 35. My husband and I were questioning this because the previous Dr we have consulted did not bring this up as an issue (we are plannign to talk with them again).

Hello, Dr. Natalie Crawford.

30 year old healthy women with 2 previous miscarriages and one D&C.

I’ve had test done uterus dye test and hormone levels checked all good no pulpis no blockages to my uterus.

I’ve asked my Doctor for letrozole to help me or progesterone to just help me. Can’t hurt at this point I’m guessing and grasping at straws.

Well my obgyn said no to wait another 3 months! Ughh 😢please give me any suggestions I know your not my medical provider but any suggestions or ideas to look into would be oh so greatly appreciated. Please and thank you

In one of your videos you stated that Letrozole doesn’t work with patients with unexplained infertility. I have been take Letrozole 2.5mg since December 2022, would upping the dosage help at all with conceiving and if so what dosage should it be?? My progesterone levels are normal and indicates I am ovulating.

Can you do videos specifically about IUI? I would like more information on it. I just had a blockage removed this spring but i also just started my IUI. Its not much information about this as a whole out there.

Besides progesterone & birth control, any suggestions to help bring on period? I have officially hit 1 year of no cycle and don’t know where to go from here. (PCOS)

P.S. This color looks beautiful on you! 😍

My diagnosis is unexplained infertility. Just can't get pregnant for some reason. I got pregnant with my first child with no problem. Had a miscarriage with the next one and have never been able to get pregnant on my own ever since. I ovulate and have regular periods every month. Tubes not blocked and hubby's sperm was good.

I love watching your videos to educate myself on options available. I have a missing period since stopping the pill (over 1 year ago). My PCP did blood work (all low sex hormones), ultrasound (all normal), and “failed” progesterone challenge (no withdrawal bleed). This makes me think it is HA. I have an appointment with the OBGYN in January. Do you have an idea of what I could expect from that appointment? If it is HA and brain related, what options could work for pregnancy?

think I have HA, but don’t have my obgyn appointment until January.

How is stress, medication changes, illness accounted in regards to the definition of a regular period? My periods are regular majority of the time. However, if I’ve been sick, extra stressed or have had medication change then my period tends to change. Usually my cycle is 26days, if any of the above has happened then my cycle changes to 28-30 days.

Do you recommend seeing an OBGYN or a fertility doctor if 1) one’s been trying for 6 months (under 30) and 2) have consistently gotten a period at 8-9 DPO. Would you recommend waiting a year to see a doctor or does this substantiate seeing a doctor sooner?
