Gasco What is a Regulator?

Gasco's new video, What is a Regulator, is the first of ten videos in a regulator education series presented by GASCO. This video is intended to help educate and explain what gas regulators are, where and why are they used and discuss their normal operation. This simple device is used to reduce gas pressure on an elevated inlet pressure down to a lower pressure on the outlet side while maintaining the needed volume or capacity for proper operation of downstream equipment. Their uses include both commercial and industrial such as hospitals, schools, bakeries, etc to uses in your own home. This video covers basic types of regulators including simple spring such as lever operated as well as direct operated and pilot regulators.
