Bhagavad means “of God” and Gita means “song.” Hence, the Bhagavad Gita literally means “Song of God.” It is a dialogue that took place between the Supreme Lord Shree Krishna and His devotee Arjun, on the verge of the Mahabharat war. Since the Bhagavad Gita encapsulates most of the important aspects of the knowledge of the Vedas, it is also called Gitopanishad, or the Gitā Upaniṣhad. The purpose of the Bhagavad Gita, above everything else, is to impart Brahma Vidyā, the science of God-realization. However, the Bhagavad Gita is not content with providing a lofty philosophical understanding; it also describes clear-cut techniques for implementing its spiritual precepts for everyday life. These techniques of applying the science of spirituality in our lives are termed “Yog.” Hence, the Bhagavad Gita is also called “Yog Śhāstra, ” meaning, the scripture that teaches the practice of Yog. That is why we find that each chapter of the Bhagavad Gita ends with -ॐ तत्सदिति श्रीमद्भगवद्गीतासूपनिषत्सु ब्रह्मविद्यायां योगशास्त्रे श्रीकृष्णार्जुनसंवादे…….

Swamiji Gita is not possible to explain beautifully as like as u. And even a child can get understand the content. From chapter1) 1 to 6 .Karm Yog 2) 7 to 12 Bhakti Yog.and 13 to 18 Jnayog. I never heard the division of this type .Teaching of Geeta is awesome. Pranams to Swamiji.
