I bought Live at The Witch Trials in 1979 in Nova Scotia, saw them live in 1983 and still listen to a mix of fall eras at least once a week. The c\Carry Bag Man

Thanks very much for the compliment about the full body of the work. There's not much of a more greatful, enthusiastic, passionate, well delivered, so gracefully stated comment involving music and other projects I was contently submersed in that finishes your fantastic career as a Dj, you also have a superb ear for something extraordinary to listen to. Sorprendente uomo di sapore buoni. A pleasure. Tony Tiani, The Fall Cielito, resta nei pace. You were sound John. Tears n Joy.

One of the only bands ever not to have done a bad album (obviously this is subjective, but I am in complete agreement with Mr Peel)

Well said sir. I’m only 6 albums away from having all the studio albums. Then I’m starting on live and rarities.

John Peel had some anxiety/tension, I recognise it, the blinking etc. I'm the same at times

The whole point about the Fall was that Smith wanted them to be anti mainstream. As soon as a song became too melodic, he would put in some crashing out of tune noise.Living too Late, In my area, Before the Moon falls come to mind.

Lovely man: John Peel, was a generous supporter of one of the bands I was in in the 90's, but I don't agree with this. The Fall were capable of some awful performances as he says, and there is a lot of rubbish recorded that isn't worth the effort. But my god they have some gems.
