I am not a very smart guy, Please can someone explain me this
if the universe is roughly estimated to be 13.8 billion years old. For the telescope to capture light coming from 28 billion light years away, shouldnt the light take 28 billion years to travel, wouldnt that mean universe is 28 billion years old measured in only that one direction?

I m sorry i dont know if this is a good or really dumb question
