WI Flight Elite 14U vs Becker Bulldogs 4 30 22

Game #2 was a night game starting at 7:50. The boys practice later so this might be just what we needed to get cooking. The Bulldogs are a school ball team and those usually play a little different style compared to a composite AAU team. More familiar and connected with plays and concepts they've been doing for a number of years. Talent isn't usually as deep and this was the case. They had 3 good players and the rest were solid but a little in over their heads skill and athletic wise. We wore them down on both ends and won convincingly. Day one was a success! Shelli and I had to make the 2hr drive back home as we were celebrating Haili's 18th birthday in the morning. Busy making great family memories! Grandpa Gary stayed with Mason at the best hotel we've been at this season so far. Would highly recommend the Running Aces in Forrest River if you ever find yourself in the area. Looking forward to what day 2 will bring!
