They need to also fix the bugs in Franchise mode. Lost a 6 year online Franchise due to a draft bug that’s been in the game for awhile

Am I the only one who thinks that when you start a new franchise you start directly in the off season so you actually go through FA, staff hiring, the draft and then preseason not start off in preseason straight off the rip?

CPU teams still draft first round qb’s when they don’t need them

The off-season needs to better increase the amount of days you can sign players, The CPU needs to be able to trade up and down in the draft to help with them drafting QBs when they don’t need one,

I think fixing the foundation right now is more important than more new features. Fixing Free Agency and contract structures was always at the top of my list so I am very excited with that one. The player tags are a great foundational piece as well and should lead to much better AI logic like not signing Lamar Jackson or drafting a QB in the first round when you already have a first round QB as well. Scouting was also probably the next biggest thing that needed to be fixed. Sounds like instead of getting random attributes revealed there will be a method to it this year so that is very welcome, and probably the biggest change that needed to happen. I was honestly pretty pessimistic this year since moonlight swami left but now I am back towards the optimistic side. There's a lot of things that need to be added and I think that coaching staffs needs to be really refined. But if you compare this year's madden to 2 years ago, I'd say they've actually made a bunch of progress and it's more than I'd ever expect over a two year span.

My real question will be how they handle live updates and how much improvement next year's Madden will have after all the rumors of the devs leaving for NCAA football. I wonder if they stuck around for this year's production cycle and then left, which might be why Swami left EA. If I don't see a lot of progress past this point or if these features are pretty broken then I will be back to pessimism. I might be in the minority here but so far I think they have followed through on fixing franchise, but we will see if that continues.

What does EA have to do to get all time teams? Or certain year teams? Like the ‘85 bears? Or the ‘13 Seahawks?

I hope for free agency that they go like mlb the show sort of like their role on the team like if there a mid 80 they prolly won’t want to be a depth player but if you have a higher overall they have to be so they might not sign cuz they want to start
