I saw a little snippet of this story on another video, but this video gave a little more background on the children and what happened to them. People were very desperate in the Depression. Those poor children suffered so much.

In the great depression children were taken away and adopted out some we have never found 😢

The robot reading is difficult to listen to. During the great depression, kids were shipped from the big cities in the US up to Canada where kids were adopted out, or put into foster homes and many of those kids, I’m sure suffered extreme abuse bc they were just taken into a family as slaves.
