This reminds me about the short regarding why we face trials and difficulties. In reality it is all because of our sins. But looking at it from a different perspective, as a part of my life of faith, my own individual cross can include the things I find undesirable to go through. But carrying my cross, overcoming challenges in my given situation, I can be changed and ready to enter heaven. I no longer want to neglect my cross, looking the other way, but carry it all the way to be able to reach heaven. Not only is it my duty but Father and Mother have already done more than enough.
