L'atmosfera amniotica di questo video trasuda emozione, luce, rinascita. I volti dei protagonisti si tingono di lacrime profonde ma inconsapevoli, come quelle di un neonato accecato dalla luce esterna e strappato via dal suo nido caldo. I visi soffrono, piangono, si contorcono. Le emozioni si confondono tra le immagini e la musica psicotropa dei Radiohead. Come solo loro sanno fare, ecco il perfetto esempio di fusione alchemica. Il pianto diventa luce, si estranea, e si riflette in un sorriso. Non è forse quello che facciamo ogni giorno? La rabbia, il traffico, le vacanze, i litigi. Di cosa abbiamo bisogno veramente? Cosa ricerchiamo quotidianamente nelle nostre vite? Siamo farfalle, insetti, sguardi, istantanee di momenti. Siamo foglie, siamo indecisi, impariamo a cadere. Che cosa è giusto? Cosa è sbagliato? Siamo lacrime. Siamo sorrisi. Noi siamo emozione. Ed è questo quello che cerchiamo, quello di cui abbiamo davvero bisogno.

I'm one of the few lucky souls to have found my soulmate. Literally a fact, not trying to sound dramatic or offensive. Thank you RADIOHEAD! I've been a fan for over a decade and this song... It is one of the only songs to connect to me the way it does. The pure, raw, deep emotion in this song shows the most surreal understanding of love. "I am animal, just wants to share your life." "I'm just an insect, trying to get out of the night." A song that reminds us of the foundation of what makes us human. Of loving someone stronger than any other instinct.
