Onboard video of a test drive with the Gyro-X after control system upgrades. Topping out at 50mph, the gusty wind did not allow for more speed.

That is superb, to see this in action is just great, I thought Lit motors was the first to come up with a self balancing two wheeler, 1967 wow that is just fantastic.

Judging by the steering inputs, it looks like the gyro tends to fight direction changes. I'd think a vertical gyro linked to the steering to mimic a motorcycle would be far more stable and easy to control.

The driver seems to fight with the wheel even in straight lines, often turns it right. It must be very strange to drive this car. I better understand why he wears a helmet.
Interesting video. Thanks.

Gyro x. I have a better idea. When a gyroscop is mounted transversely in the vehicle, parallel to the wheels and rotating in the opposite direction the gyroscope will bank the vehicle, leaning to the inside of the turn in a natural direction like a bicycle or motorcycle or airplane. A.car will lean away from the turn towards the outside. The input needed from the driver is a change of direction only. A.car would lean into like a motorcycle. Handling would be more natural than a car resulting in less fatigue for the driver. It would be more.efficient and the driver wouldn't have to fight the car which would be more stable. And more comfortable. By the way where are the jet powered vehicle we were supposed to have in the 21st century and ultra high speed highways. The Hyabusa is so fast it's nuts. But people want faster but safer too. That's why motorcycle and cars replaced horses.

That was a fun concept, but it looks like a LOT of work to be driven properly, even on a straight line.
I'm having a ton of questions about this ! Does it have a caster angle similar to those of motorcycles to help stabilize the vehicle in straight lines and is it possible to get a gyro saturation during a long drive ?
How do you manage eneven terrain when powering up the gyro ? Does it affect the car's balance (or more specifically, the gyro's ability to compensate for roll since it has been spun up at an angle ?)

this is perfect for city rides to avoid traffic jams.

That 4 cylinder sounds so good, like a turbine. Very space age/atomic age

How much fuel does that things use and what does it run on?

Sounds like a sewing machine. With todays technology give it a V8 sound through the stereo.
