When I worked on projects for a 3 lettered agency, we could see from your shirt pocket, the brand of cigarette you smoked, and that was from an altitude of 600 to 1500 miles high. That was 35 years ago!

I used to be able to do this with my own telescope, it had a field that one could actually zoom a bit in like this. I also built my own telescope from some discarded optical equipment, which proved very useful and improved my stars and planets observations…. I was only about 12 years old at the time. Unfortunately, I lost both of these telescopes many years ago when I moved to another city…..😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😭😭😭😭😭. I still wish I had them today, and I’m still very much an avid amateur astronomer. Love watching the night

At least it’s straight forward unlike those Mars Rover video that focus on a plain boulder and expect you to see Spock drinking a Bud light while taking a number 2 sitting on a glass toilet

We should have been able to look in to a crater years ago with clarity, but I do not know why more people have not been able to show us a picture like this one.😊 Nice

Perfect shot, that is precision work there mate, anyone who doesnt know how hard it is to track something moving around 3000km hour over 380000km away cant fathom the the equipment and skill required
