How do you replace the expanded metal when it burns out?

As a 30yr metal fabricator built shit tons of wood burner stoves. Weld 3/8 tabs to hold that expanded steel. Make it removable. Heat will melt it forsure.

These are very inefficient, thy need a longer wood tube (that is a major intake so flames should not rise past the very bottom in the wood feed tube) and a longer top, fire should not ride from the top opening only heat otherwise cooking on it will be difficult and th draw will not be sufficient to have a fast burn which is what these stoves are made for!
